We've all wanted to eat healthily, but rarely does good healthy food come in a convenient form when and where you want it, think office or school. Well it seems that's all about to change, a Spanish company (www.lofresco.es) has introduced a vending machine that supplies organic fruit, nuts, ready meals and a Spanish soup called gazpacho. Sounds good and hopefully will be expanding to other countries soon.

Seems that vending machines are far from dead and new products are constantly being delivered through them.

Has anyone else seen other products, who traditionally went through other channels, use vending machines?

For those consumers that like to support their local growers but aren't so keen about the availability of the products through retail supply chains, a German firm is selling their wares through vending machines. These vending machines allow consumers to access these locally grown produce 24/7 and require only a roof and some electricity. By cutting out the middleman farmers are able to offer consumers a more convenient and discounted product while freeing up the farmers to do what they do best. Currently, the vending machinges  sell fresh milk, eggs, butter, cheese, potatoes and sausage in thirteen German towns and communities.

Anyone seen anything like this in your neck of the woods?
