See the full gallery on Posterous Well, after a couple of delays and some long hours on the plane we finally landed in ulaanbaatar, mongolia’s capital, comprising of 1.3 million people - roughly the same size as Copenhagen. Although it’s slightly different, as one would expect, and the capital lies somewhat between old soviet designed buildings and Athens, with a twist of Asia...

Now just have to squeeze all this into one bag that weighs less than 20 kg. Lets hope no luggage gets lost in any of flight transfers. Cross your fingers and wish us luck. Just over a week until the race!
So the time is nigh and with only two more days until our departure the nerves are slowly creeping in. 100 KM - that’s more than twice the distance either of us have ever run in a single outing, and all within an 18 hour cutoff! Let’s hope that the many hours spent at CrossFit combined with a whole winters worth of sunday mornings with the Sparta crew and the Copenhagen Marathon...
